Dr Shaun Morris – Veterinarian Dr Shaun Morris is a veterinarian and feedlot specialist with more than 25 years of experience in production animal health and feedlots. He holds several qualifications in veterinary science and agriculture and is the owner of SJK Feedlot Consulting. He also serves on the Ministerial Advisory Task Team on Animal Disease Prevention and Management.
Izak du Toit – Director, Barnard Inc. Izak du Toit is a Director at Barnard Inc. with more than 20 years of experience in commercial, corporate and civil litigation. He specialises in agricultural, commercial and regulatory law and advises financial institutions and role players in the South African agricultural sector on regulatory and compliance matters.
This information session is aimed at leaders involved in marketing of livestock, weaner calves and slaughter cattle.

Both a civil engineer and a specialist bovine surgeon, Prof Tony Shakespeare is a practical veterinarian with an astute clinical approach- attributes that hold him in high regard in the veterinary community.
A senior lecturer in Production Animal Studies at Onderstepoort, Tony’s charisma amongst students is infectious; amongst veterinarians he is acclaimed for his extensive comprehension of ruminant physiology. Tony will focus on rumen, anatomy physiology as well as acute and sub acute acidosis.
Prof Leon Prozesky is from Path Diagnostic Africa and was previously a professor at the University of Pretoria’s Faculty of Veterinary Science at Onderstepoort. Prof will present a number of the cases posted on the Octavoscene path group this year as well as discussing the methods to use to to a post mortem correctly.
